ABOUT THE POSITION

Sonepar, formerly Elektroskandia, is one of Sweden's leading electrical wholesalers selling electrical materials, lighting, and power/automation to customers in electrical installation, industry, and tele/data.

Academic Work's student pool at Sonepar's warehouse makes it easy to combine studies with work. You need to be available to work at least two shifts a week, and you can choose which days based on your school schedule. In the student pool, you will have about 25 colleagues who are all students just like you.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Regardless of department or task, your role is crucial for the company's supply chain to function effectively. Collaboration with colleagues is essential, while you also take responsibility for your part in the chain. Sonepar always values quality and precision in work performance.

The work is scheduled on weekdays, and the working hours vary depending on which department you end up in. We are currently looking for reinforcement in one department where the working hours are 06-14 and 15-21; it is important that you can work at least one day shift and one evening shift each week. There are also other departments where the working hours are 10-19 or 15-19. Which department you end up in is not predetermined, hence both working hours are listed.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Are a student at a post-secondary level with at least three full semesters left in your studies. This must be clearly stated in your application; otherwise, it will not be processed.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Can work at least 2 days a week
• Enjoy working physically, as the job is very physical

It is an advantage if you have:

• Forklift license
• Driver's license and access to your own car
• Previous experience in warehouse work

• Forklift training: We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities; if you lack a forklift license but have the drive and motivation for this assignment, you will be offered a forklift license by us at Academic Work.
